Matiere Premiere Radical Rose Extrait opens with the spicy and luminous facets of saffron and allspice. At the heart, the centifolia rose, grown in the Maison’s flower fields in Grasse using family know-how, is mixed with Croatian immortelle absolute.
The latter, with its marked floral and saline character, reveals a more full-bodied depth and a mineral aspect to the rose. Like a play of chiaroscuro, patchouli and labdanum cistus reveal their darkest nuances, while vanilla and ethyl maltol bring a touch of gourmand sensuality, thus completing the composition.
